Pamukkale is an amazing display of natural hot water pools in Denizli Province, south-western Turkey. What you see in the photos below are known as travertines or the terraces that form due to the carbonate minerals that gather up as the flowing water circles.

Pamukkale is actually Turkish for “cotton castle”, a name that we think manages to characterize the true inner “fluffiness” of this place.

Plantar fasciitis occurs when the band of tissue connecting your heel to your toes becomes inflamed. The pain is typically sharp and stabbing, and may decrease once you get moving throughout the day—but it comes back after periods of rest. The condition is the  most common cause  of chronic heel pain, and 11 to 15 percent of orthopedic foot complaints stem from plantar fasciitis.
